Andrew Strauss’ disasterous (start to the) season continues

Despite publicly proclaiming “no worries” about his complete absence of form, Andrew Strauss continues to fail to score. And this time against Hampshire (which for whatever reason I seem to have written a lot about so far this season). I was hoping, for my sake as a suffering Middlesex fan, and for his sake having very rarely faced Warne, that their confrontation would be exciting and interesting. Looks like he never even faced him – dismissed for 6 by Ervine no less.

OK, I’m worried now – I wasn’t – but I am now. Score some bloody runs Andrew. On the plus side, Ed Joyce did himself more favours in scoring another 70 and is now the 2nd highest run scorer so far this season.
